The Short Story Club has become a beloved activity among Evergreen Place residents, providing an outlet for creative expression and social interaction. Each Tuesday, residents gather to share and discuss short stories and engage in their own creative writing exercises.

The club, which uses storytelling to connect residents and stimulate cognitive function, has quickly become a highlight of Evergreen Place’s weekly activities calendar. From exploring classic literature to crafting original narratives, residents of all backgrounds and interests come together to share their love for literature and writing.

“We’re so happy to see our residents’ enthusiasm and engagement for the Short Story Club,” said Julie Westcott, Executive Director at Evergreen Place. “The activities have encouraged residents to express themselves creatively and helped to create connections. It’s truly inspiring to witness the creativity and friendships that flourish within our community.”
