Since they arrived at The Havens at Antelope Valley in October 2022, Jerry and Betty haveleft an indelible mark on our community. He is 102, she is 97, and this loving couple has been married for 74 years. He does just about everything for her!

Jerry’s devoted care for Betty shines as he wheels her to activities and mealtimes. Their love enriches their lives and deeply impacts their children, Roger and Bonnie, and their five grandchildren.

This close-knit group exemplifies how involving families in senior living plays a role in creating lasting bonds and cherished memories.

About Jerry
Jerry’s remarkable journey began in rural Oklahoma on March 20, 1922. With a background in mathematics, he attended the University of Oklahoma before joining the ROTC. He served as a bombardier in the Air Force during World War II and later excelled as a petroleum engineer with Sinclair Oil & Gas.

Faith has always been a guiding force for Jerry. “God has led me most of my life, and He gets all the credit,” Jerry said.
