Harvest Festival Brings Fun for All Ages to Arlington, TX

The Harvest Festival at Town Village Crossing was a big hit this year, drawing in residents, family members, and team members for a day filled with activities, laughter, and good food.

The festival brought our community together, and we were thrilled to welcome so many families — especially the youngest visitors, who made the day even more exciting.

Fun for Kids of All Ages

Throughout the event, kids were everywhere, getting face paint and temporary tattoos. The costume lineup was fantastic, featuring mermaids, firefighters, Mario brothers, and even a few “tiger princesses.”

For added fun, a bounce house and train rides around the community grounds provided plenty of entertainment for kids and adults alike.

Children and residents joined in on creative activities at the craft table with glitter, paint, and plenty of enthusiasm. The craft station was an excellent way for everyone to slow down and make a small keepsake together. It added a personal touch to the event, allowing families to sit, create, and connect.

Setting the Tone

Live music by The TriTones added an upbeat soundtrack to the day. Their mix of classic hits from the ’70s, ’80s, and ’90s kept spirits high and had people tapping their feet and singing along. It was a relaxed and enjoyable way for everyone to enjoy live music and bring back memories from favorite songs of the past.

Popcorn, Candy, and Frito Pie: Oh My!

The carnival food options were a big hit, too. Guests enjoyed popcorn, cotton candy, corn dogs, Frito pie, and pulled pork sandwiches, with something for everyone to enjoy. Residents and families were able to grab a bite, find a spot to sit and catch up over a meal in a casual setting.

To top it off, we handed out custom T-shirts to remember the day, giving everyone a wearable reminder of the fun we all had together.

The Harvest Festival was a wonderful reminder of what makes Town Village Crossing a close-knit, welcoming independent living community. Events like these bring everyone together, creating strong connections between residents, their families, and our team members.
