Residents at Bridgewood Gardens Assisted Living and Memory Care received a visit from the Gadsden Dream Catchers, a group of local high school students with a mission to build connections across generations. Carrying roses and open hearts, the students spent time with seniors, sharing conversations and bonding.
The teenagers handed out flowers as they made their way through the community, pausing to chat and listen to the residents’ stories. The simple gesture sparked meaningful moments, with smiles and shared memories filling the room.
“We love it when the Dream Catchers visit,” said Sharion Walls, Executive Director of Bridgewood Gardens. “Seeing these interactions reminds us how valuable it is to bring generations together. The connections made today will be remembered.”
The sweet gesture caught the attention of Huntsville-Madison news stations WHNT and WZDX.
