On April 15th, Town Village Crossing resident and World War II veteran Dick Phillips turned 96!
Instead of letting safety protocols ruin her plans to celebrate her father, Kathryn H. found a new way to celebrate his birthday. Kathryn orchestrated a drive-thru birthday parade with Dick’s family members and dearest friends. The resident’s family decorated their cars with balloons and signs while blasting cheerful music.
Seeing how much cheer the parade brought to their resident, Town Village Crossing associates wanted to plan a special parade for their entire facility.
Taking cues from the Phillips family’s parade, family members of Town Village Crossing residents gathered together to spread joy to their loved ones. On the day of the parade, over 60 cars showed up decked out with banners, balloons, and signs to spread joy to their loved ones. Watch the excitement here on our blog!
