On Saturday, October 12, two senior living residents of Town Village Crossing — Richard B., 84, and Beth C., 76 — took a giant leap into the skies. The pair participated in a skydiving adventure that captivated fellow residents and staff members alike.
The jump was organized as part of Town Village Crossing’s efforts to promote an active and engaging community life, with 13 fellow residents — led by Life Enrichment Director Cholly Gordon — gathering to cheer on the daring participants. The group was excited to watch Richard and Beth make their bold leap and share the thrill of the experience from solid ground.
“This adventure represents the spirit of adventure in our community,” said Cholly with a smile. “Richard and Beth have shown us that there’s no age limit on excitement or fun, and they’re a wonderful example of how age should never limit one’s sense of adventure.”
Both Richard and Beth have been active residents at Town Village Crossing and were thrilled to have the chance to skydive. Their experience is being celebrated throughout the community, and it has sparked conversations about future activities that encourage residents to live life to the fullest.
